| The IIA’s International Internal Audit Standards Board (IIASB) is are pleased to announce that the revisions to the International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards) have been released globally on October 1, 2012. The release of these revisions follows the exposure of proposed changes earlier this year, the IIASB’s consideration of 1,685 responses received from individuals and organizations around the world during the exposure period, and concurrence in the Standards-setting due process by the IPPF Oversight Council. Review the revisions. The IIA will be hosting two sessions of Global Web Broadcast (a webinar format) on 8:00pm – 9:00pm US Eastern Time, October 23, and 10:00 am – 11:00am US Eastern Time, October 24 to review the changes to the Standards. The Broadcast is free to the public, but pre-registration is required.
