Mark de Jong earned the Kurt Riedener Bronze Medal Award for his outstanding performance on the Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) examination in 2013. Not only did he successfully complete all parts of the CIA exam within twelve months, he also achieved the third highest overall exam score of all candidates globally during this exam period. The award is named in honor of Kurt Riedener, who was a long time member and Chairman of the Board of Regents from 1992-2012. In this role, he was instrumental over the years in the significant growth and recognition of the CIA exam worldwide. Consideration for the award is based on a candidate’s performance on the core parts of the CIA exam (Parts I, II, and III) and requires the candidate to pass each exam part on their first attempt. |
