New IIA Glossary

The IIA is pleased to announce the release of the Official IIA Glossary. The glossary comprises internal audit terminology extracted from our official sources: the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF); Internal Auditing: Assurance & Advisory Services, 4th Edition (Textbook); and Sawyer’s Internal Auditing, 7th Edition. The glossary can be used as a resource for IIA certification candidates as it provides the definition for terms used in the Certified Internal Auditor® (CIA®).
