Worldwide survey Internal Audit and communication

09-04-2020

IIA Poland, Ministry of Finance in Poland and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education are conducting a worldwide survey. Almost 500 Polish internal auditors already completed the survey. The research team asks the members from IIA Netherlands assistance in completing the survey.

Objectives of the study

  • Defining the types of communication problems encountered by auditors (in the field of collecting, processing and providing feedback),
  • Learning the ways of communication that auditors use to solve the problems they encounter.

Survey method & GDPR

CAWI (e-survey) is the simplest method that, in our approach, takes into account the limitations of the GDPR. The CATI / CAWI Laboratory is a project financed by a ministerial grant obtained for the Department of Economic Journalism and Public Relations of the UEP. The program is hosted on university servers and as part of existing IT solutions which are protected against external interference. However, we do not collect sensitive data for the purposes of the survey. Identifying the participants in the survey will be impossible.

Conducting the survey

Research results will be used in a scientific publication on communication in an internal audit.

The maximum time to complete the survey is approximately 15 minutes.
