|After a significant year of political upheaval in the Middle East, unpredictable stock markets, a deepening crisis in the Eurozone and the tsunami in Japan, |
business executives could be forgiven for wanting some respite from an environment that looks increasingly challenging and
uncertain. Unfortunately, they are likely to be disappointed, because 2012 is set to be even more volatile, risky and unpredictable
In 2011 EY identified 10 key risks and opportunities for global organizations in our report Turn risks and opportunities into results. A year on, the aim of this report is to examine how those perceptions of risk and opportunity have changed. They interviewed 150 companies to discover their views on the impact of the current economic environment on the 2011 rankings. This report does not seek to re-rank the top 10 risks and opportunities that EY identified last year. Rather, it tracks how these risks and opportunities have grown or diminished since 2011.
