Updated requirements CIA Program

With the launch of the revised Internal Audit Practitioner on 2 November, the entry and exit requirements for the CIA Program have been updated to reflect several changes. 

New Entry Requirements

To be approved into the CIA program, candidates must either hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher, hold an active Internal Audit Practitioner designation, or possess 5 years of internal audit experience.

Removed Entry Requirements

The Associate’s Degree or three A-Level Certificates - grade C or higher (or equivalent) requirement has been removed from the list of entry requirements.

New Exit Requirements

Candidates who apply to the program using their active Internal Audit Practitioner designation as an entry requirement must provide 5 years of verifiable internal audit experience or equivalent.
