  • Booking.com | created a new internal FinTech business unit to facilitate seamless access to the company’s global travel marketplace for both customers and partners. We are in the process of establishing an Internal Audit Function aimed at our regulated payment activities. This requires a very different approach, mindset and ways of working compared to our Internal Audit role so far in our company. Looking forward to sharing some of our lessons learned and challenges.
  • ABN AMRO | Ayhan Yavuz will present which challenges the internal audit function faces in a time where more and more functions are being outsourced and are running in the cloud. 
  • ING Bank | Kees de Kater will elaborate on how an auditor can provide assurance on change and innovation initiatives, such as programmes, projects and innovation trajectories. At ING a specific project auditing approach, containing six project management key controls has been developed and rolled out across the globe. To wrap up, Kees will share (on an aggregate level), the most common issues encountered when auditing change in a global bank.
