The results of the EU mini benchmark on coordination between internal audit and the second line are now available. In May, 285 internal audit professionals across thirteen European countries, including 71 from the Netherlands, participated in this short survey on how internal audit functions coordinate with risk management, compliance, cybersecurity and other second-line functions.
The Institute of Internal Auditors has released two new Global Practice Guides together with a companion maturity model tool focused on data analytics within the internal audit profession. The publications support internal auditors in strengthening analytics capabilities and accelerating the transition toward more data driven, risk focused assurance activities aligned with the Global Internal Audit Standards.
