Internal auditors (all levels incl CAE), audit staff and new starters who want to build practical data analytics skills immediately applicable to their audit work. No prior analytics experience required.
Goal
This programme is designed to transform the skills of audit professionals from occasional spreadsheet users into confident, data-driven practitioners.
Participants will leave knowing how to interrogate data quality before it undermines their conclusions; detect exceptions and anomalies across entire populations using Excel's most powerful audit functions; and build automated, repeatable data workflows using Power Query that free up time for higher-value analysis.
They will produce a fully functional one-page audit dashboard during the programme itself and walk away able to translate complex data findings into clear, credible narratives for audit committees, management and the board.
Level
Foundation (suitable for all levels; beginner through experienced)
Number of participants
Minimum 5 and maximum 12 participants in person
