Challenge Package CISA

In 2025, The IIA once again offers the opportunity to obtain the CIA certification through the CIA Challenge Exam. This accelerated pathway is available to CISAs and focuses on knowledge domains that were not previously assessed in the original qualification exam.

Participants take one exam consisting of 150 multiple-choice questions, based on the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) and the Global Internal Audit Standards. The exam is conducted in English, lasts a maximum of 180 minutes, and is available via online testing or at a test center.

Participation in the program includes access to a study package for 12 months, featuring a digital study guide, 1,000 practice questions, and access to supporting materials.
