Challenge Package NBA

In 2025, The IIA once again offers the opportunity to obtain the CIA certification through the CIA Challenge Exam. This accelerated pathway is available to NBA-members and focuses on knowledge domains that were not previously assessed in the original qualification exam.

Participants take one exam consisting of 150 multiple-choice questions, based on the International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF) and the Global Internal Audit Standards. The exam is conducted in English, lasts a maximum of 180 minutes, and is available via online testing or at a test center.

Participation in the program includes access to a study package for 12 months, featuring a digital study guide, 1,000 practice questions, and access to supporting materials.
