CEO's of IIA Affiliates in Belgium and The Netherlands Visit IIA Headquarters

In November 2023, the IIA Headquarters in Lake Mary, Florida, welcomed Cedric Hamaekers, CIA, CRMA, CEO of The IIA Affiliate in Belgium, and Danny A. Francken MA, CEO of The IIA Affiliate in The Netherlands, as part of the new IIA Affiliate Leader Onboarding Process. This immersive program aims to equip affiliate leaders with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed in their roles.

The agenda of the visit included an overview of the 2024 Strategic Plan with The IIA Global HQ President and CEO, Anthony Pugliese, a meeting with the Affiliate Relations’ directors about initiatives at HQ, attending the Cultural Around the World presentation with HQ staff, and to address their specific areas of interest, Cedric and Danny participated in personalized one-on-one meetings with executives and directors. These focused discussions covered various topics such as marketing, certifications, governance, and advocacy, enabling them to gain valuable insights and actionable strategies.

The visit was an excellent opportunity for the leaders of the IIA Affiliates in Belgium and The Netherlands to gain insights into the workings of the IIA Headquarters and to learn about the initiatives and programs that the IIA offers.
