The Non-Financial Risk (NFRM) team is part of the Risk Management department. NFRM is a second-line function and we are responsible for facilitating and challenging the first line in gaining insight into their operational and IT risks and the existing level of control. This allows the organization to make good risk-based decisions. We do this by providing the first line with the necessary tools to identify, assess and monitor their risks and controls. In addition, we help them use these instruments and address them on the outcomes and proposed decisions. In addition, we consolidate information for VLK's senior management to understand the current state of the organization's operational risk profile and advise the Management Board on all areas of non-financial risk. Through these activities, NFRM supports VLK in achieving its strategic objectives.

We are looking for a pragmatic, tech savvy, data interested IT risk manager who enjoyes a rapidly developing organization, with enthusiastic DevOps-teams. In this role you will both serve as an account manager to our 1st line management as well as an ORM expert to ensure our Risk framework is up to par. You will need to challenge the 1st line in the assessment of the risks and the feasibility of the mitigating actions and monitor the progress of it.
